Panasonic
has launched its new smartphone “Eluga Icon” at Rs 10,999 in India. The new
device will be available exclusively on Amazon India. It will be available in
gold and slate colour variants.
In
terms of specifications, the Eluga Icon is a pretty solid middle-range handset,
packing a 5.5-inch 720p display, a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM,
a 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front facing camera.
The
device is running with the latest build of KitKat skinned with Panasonic’s Icon
custom user interface, dual-SIM functionality and support for 4G LTE. This
smartphone also features ambient light sensor, accelerometer, e-compass,
and proximity sensors. The main strong point of this phone is its
large 3500mAh battery. It also features MediaTek's HotKnot file
transfer technology, which is similar to near field communications (NFC) in
terms of application.
